Facelift and Necklift
Rhytidectomy, also known as a “facelift” or “necklift,” is a surgical procedure designed to improve the appearance of the face and neck. In most patients this involves treatment of the face and neck at the same time using a continuous incision. This is necessary because the face and neck age together, and treatment of one and not the other often results in a suboptimal appearance. Rhytidectomy is often combined with fat injections (obtained from under the chin or from the abdomen) to the cheeks or other areas of hollowing. Facelift is also often combined with other facial procedures such as eyelid lift.
There are different options available for individualized treatment of each body area. Consultation with Dr. McDaniel will be helpful to determine the specific procedure that will be most beneficial for you.
